Are you an expert in your field and want to share knowledge with enthusiastic learners? Are you conducting a research and want to share your results with interested peers? Are you a soft-skills trainer and want to reach out to new trainees?
Then we invite you to contribute in the DJIV Scientific Forum (DSF) in the following threads.
- Keynote Talk: You will give a 60-minute talk in which you introduce a new topic from your area of expertise in an insightful and enlightening presentation that is accessible to an audience from diverse scientific backgrounds.
- Tutorials: You will lead an interactive session (60 – 120 minutes) in which you give your audience a quick, practical and self-contained introduction in a technical subject or a soft skill, using a set of examples, exercises and illustration tools.
- Research Colloquium: You will give a 30-minute talk in which you present the topic and, if available, the initial or final results of a scientific research, a graduation project, an industrial project, or a software system that you are/were a part of. To stimulate mutual discussion and communication among peers, your talk will be part of an online session that contains other talks from the same discipline.
- Mini-course: You will teach a university course over a few online sessions (3 – 6 45-minute lectures) in which you explain a scientific topic in depth with sufficient examples and exercises.
Contributions from all disciplines of engineering and natural sciences are welcome.
Contributions will be hosted on the DJIV’s platform of online learning and speakers will be technically supported throughout their engagement.
The 100+ members of the DJIV will constitute the main audience of the online scientific program, but it will be open for all interested participants.
